Nick Jonas joins Shania Twain onstage for Stagecoach Festival

Country star Shania Twain delighted fans at the 2017 Stagecoach Festival in California on Saturday (29Apr17) by inviting Nick Jonas and Kelsea Ballerini to join her onstage.

The You're Still the One hitmaker was a headliner for the annual country music bash, and for her only scheduled show of the year (17), Shania delivered a hits-packed set while also debuting new songs from her upcoming album, her first fresh material since 2002's Up!.

Introducing her new single, Life's About to Get Good, she told the crowd writing the tunes served as "therapy" for her, seven years after her divorce from ex-husband and her former songwriter partner and producer Robert 'Mutt' Lange.

"This is like a solo record experience for me. It was therapy," she smiled. "You've got to take the good and the bad, right? No pain, no gain."

She then called on Ballerini to duet on Any Man of Mine, and sent fans into a spin by teaming up with Jonas for a rendition of her 2004 hit Party for Two.

The former Jonas Brothers star even credited Shania with inspiring him to become a performer.

"I must say one thing: Shania Twain is the reason I'm in music today," he declared, as the veteran star returned the compliment, remarking the pop hunk "does impress me very much," as she segued into That Don't Impress Me Much.

Jonas and Ballerini weren't the only guest stars to make appearances at Stagecoach on Saturday - Willie Nelson's old pal Neil Young showed up unannounced to help the On the Road Again icon celebrate his 84th birthday onstage by joining in a rendition of Will the Circle Be Unbroken with Margo Price and John Doe.

Dierks Bentley topped the bill for the first night of Stagecoach on Friday (28Apr17), while Kenny Chesney closes out the weekend gathering on Sunday night (30Apr17). Other performers over the weekend included Cole Swindell, Brett Eldredge, Kip Moore, Thomas Rhett, and Tyler Farr.
