Nick Jonas impresses family in Broadway musical
Nick Jonas turned his debut in Broadway musical How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying into a family affair on Tuesday (24Jan12) - he brought his parents, brothers and girlfriend Delta Goodrem along for support.
The singer/actor is following in the dancing footsteps of Glee's Darren Criss and Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe as social climber J. Pierrepont Finch - and his first performance in the show proved to be a big hit with his family.
After the show, his father Paul took to Twitter.com and gushed,
"WOW! @nickjonas was amazing tonight. My heart is full."
The 19-year-old's brother Joe added, "Wow! @nickjonas and the cast
of How to Succeed killed it tonight. I couldn't be more proud of
nick."
Taking to Twitter after the production, a grateful Nick Jonas
wrote, "Thank you all so much for... the well wishes for tonight! I
love you all."
Other members of the Jonas family, who attended the show, included
older brother Kevin Jonas and Nick's youngest sibling, Frankie.
Former Ugly Betty star Michael Urie also made his debut in the
musical on Tuesday alongside Beau Bridges, who recently replaced
John Larroquette as J.B. Biggley.
Nick Jonas is no stranger to the theater - he made his Broadway
debut in 2000's A Christmas Carol when he was just eight. He has
also appeared on the New York and West End stages in Les
Miserables, playing both Gavroche and Marius Pontmercy, and he
portrayed Link Larkin in Hairspray at the Hollywood Bowl in Los
Angeles last month (Aug11).
