Nick Jonas impresses Delta Goodrem with Hairspray performances

Nick Jonas showed off his theatre skills in a new production of Hairspray over the weekend (05-07Aug11) as girlfriend Delta Goodrem watched with pride.

The Jonas Brothers star took to the stage at the Hollywood Bowl on Friday (05Aug11) for his debut performance as Link Larkin, alongside John Stamos, Darlene Love and Corbin Bleu.

The singer logged on to his Twitter.com page following the final performance on Sunday (07Aug11) to share his pride after taking part in the triumphant shows.

He wrote, "What an amazing pleasure to be a part of Hairspray at the Hollywood bowl. Thanks to everyone... cast-mates, family and friends, love you all!

"I want to say a huge thank you to all my amazing fans who came to see me in Hairspray from all different parts of the world. Love you guys! The Hairspray experience was amazing. Going to bed feeling so blessed and honored to have played Link."

Goodrem, who has been reportedly been dating Jonas since May (11), was clearly impressed with her beau after catching the musical.

She tweeted, "Congratulations to the cast of Hairspray at the hollywood bowl. Magical! Blown away by @nickjonas performance. He was the perfect Link."
