Nick Gordon loses lawyers in Bobbi Kristina Brown case

The lawyer representing Bobbi Kristina Brown's boyfriend Nick Gordon in his wrongful death lawsuit has stepped down.

Gordon was hit with a $10 million lawsuit by Brown's court-appointed co-conservator, Bedelia Hargrove, following the 22 year old's death in July (15). In the legal papers, he is accused of giving Whitney Houston's only child a "toxic cocktail" which rendered her unconscious on the night of 31 January (15), when the aspiring singer and actress was found unresponsive and face down in a bathtub at the home she shared with Gordon in Georgia.

She was placed in a medically induced coma a day after she was taken to a nearby hospital, and spent almost six months fighting for her life.

Gordon is now on the look-out for a new attorney after his lawyer, Bryant Green, withdrew from the case on 11 November (15), according to Entertainment Tonight.

A source tells the news show, "There was a conflict of interest involving Nick and Bryant Green. At this time, the case is at a still point until Nick Gordon finds new counsel as he is currently without counsel working on everything pro se."

An additional insider tells Entertainment Tonight that Gordon was "being unco-operative" with his legal team during the course of the investigation for the civil case.

While no criminal charges have been files against Gordon, his legal team previously called the lawsuit "slanderous and meritless," and a "fictitious assault against the person who loved Krissy most".

Eyewitnesses have previously stated Brown and Gordon's romance was a turbulent one, fueled by drugs.

Brown's father Bobby Brown and the rest of her family barred her boyfriend from visiting her during the final months of her life.
