Nicholas Brendon arrested for the third time this year

Embattled actor Nicholas Brendon has been arrested for the third time this year (15).

The former Buffy the Vampire Slayer star was taken into custody in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina on Saturday (16May15) and charged with public intoxication and impairment.

Last month (Apr15), an arrest warrant was issued after the 44 year old failed to submit requested urine samples to authorities stemming from an arrest for reportedly trashing a hotel room in Florida in March (15).

He was charged with criminal mischief and released on bail, but ordered to avoid alcohol and drugs and submit random urine analysis and attend weekly alcohol checks.

In February (15), Brendon was arrested for destroying another hotel room in Florida.

Brendon is refusing to comment on the news, but sent a message to fans via Twitter. which read: "I love you all. Healing waters of Myrtle Beach. We are all human."
