New mom Anne Hathaway returns to red carpet

Anne Hathaway hit her first red carpet since becoming a mom in Los Angeles on Thursday (12May16).

In her first public appearance since welcoming her son Jonathan in March (24Mar16), the Les Miserables star stepped out to help promote her new movie, Alice Through the Looking Glass.

The new mom, 33, wore a black and white floral lace dress by Disaya for her return to the spotlight, as she beamed and posed for the cameras beside her husband Adam Shulman.

Anne reprises her role as Mirana of Marmoreal, the White Queen, in the sequel to 2010's Alice in Wonderland, which also features the return of her co-stars Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, and Mia Wasikowska, who portrays the titular Alice in the Lewis Carroll adaptation.

Both films were directed by Tim Burton.
