Nathan Sykes skips The Wanted's last show

British boy band The Wanted performed their last gig on Sunday (31Aug14) without band member Nathan Sykes.

Earlier this year (14), the Glad You Came hitmakers announced they would take an indefinite hiatus following their world tour in May (14) but they continued to book occasional shows.

The band performed its last gig at the Fusion Festival in Birmingham, England on Sunday but Sykes was noticeably missing. According to Britain's The Sun newspaper, he had to pull out due to work commitments in the States.

Jay McGuiness tells the publication the appearance was the last before their hiatus began, saying, "We're not booked for anything else. We have no other plans."

Each member will be focusing on solo projects.
