Nathan Sykes rejoins The Wanted onstage after vocal surgery

The Wanted singer Nathan Sykes thrilled fans in London on Sunday (09Jun13) after rejoining the band for the first time since undergoing vocal surgery.

The pop star was forced to sit out the group's recent U.S. press tour to promote its new reality show, The Wanted Life, following the vocal procedure in April (13) and just last week (begs03Jun13) Sykes admitted his voice was not yet up to par, saying, "I'm having a few problems and we're still trying to work out what's up with it but hopefully I'll be better soon."

But on Sunday, the 20 year old made his surprise comeback at the Summertime Ball at Wembley Stadium, where he belted out his solo on the single I Found You after watching much of the concert from backstage.

Sykes' unexpected appearance became a worldwide trend on Twitter.com, and in a post he added, "Thanks for all the love today. Really put a smile on my face."

His bandmates are happy about his return too - Max George tweeted, "(Nathan Is Back) love you mate! Welcome back."
