Motley Crue cancel New York show over bad weather
Motley Crue called off their show in New York at the last minute on Friday (24May13) due to bad weather.
The rockers were set to play in the town of Big Flats, but the extreme rainy conditions prompted the gig to be axed.
Bassist Nikki Sixx insists the show will be rescheduled, and has
vowed to make it up to a fan who traveled all the way from Japan to
see the group play by taking him to their Saturday (25May13)
concert in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
In a series of posts on his Twitter.com page on Friday night, he
writes, "The show tonight in Big Flats NY is postponed due to bad
weather!! It (will) be rescheduled. Sorry guys.
"Met the nicest fan that flew from Japan only to find out our show
was cancelled. Were (sic) flying him to Atlantic city for
tomorrow's show + hotel."
