Missy Elliott back in the studio after Super Bowl triumph

Rapper Missy Elliott is back in the studio with longtime collaborator Timberland less than two weeks after she stepped back into the spotlight, following a lengthy hiatus, at the Super Bowl.

The Work It hitmaker's not-so surprise performance alongside half-time show headline Katy Perry was a big hit and the warm reception she received appears to have inspired her to get back to making music.

Posting a photo of herself in the studio with Timbaland on Twitter on Tuesday (10Feb15), Elliott wrote, "Me & @Timbaland bk (back) 2 the drawing board studio dirty beats."

Missy's last full album, The Cookbook, was released in July, 2005.
