Miranda Cosgrove visits military base

Miranda Cosgrove showed her support for the armed forces on Monday (09Jan12) by hosting a screening of a military-themed Icarly episode for a group of soldiers' children.
The actress traveled to a base in San Diego, California for a preview of the special installment, which features a cameo appearance by First Lady Michelle Obama, and she was overjoyed to meet military members and their relatives.
In a post on her Twitter.com page, she writes, "Heading to San
Diego to a military base! Can't wait to meet some kids and screen
the new iCarly episode early for them."
She later added, "Had an amazing time tonight with the whole iCarly
gang meeting military families! Thanks for having us."
The episode is set to air on 16 January (12).
