Miranda Cosgrove puts off education for iCarly

Miranda Cosgrove has decided to stall her college plans in order to continue filming hit TV show Icarly.

The actress was recently accepted into two prestigious schools - New York University and the University of Southern California - but she has decided to postpone her studies to work on the hit Nickelodeon series.

A representative for the star tells the New York Post, "She really wants to go to college, but she is delaying her freshman year to stay in L.A. and film a fifth - and perhaps final - season of iCarly sometime in 2012."

Miranda Cosgrove plans to major in film when she eventually gets to college.
