Miley Cyrus to host MTV VMAs

Miley Cyrus has been announced as the host of the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards.
The pop star, who hit the headlines for her raunchy performance with Robin Thicke at the event in 2013, announced the news on Twitter.com on Monday (20Jul15).
Wearing an all-green alien outfit, complete with mask, Miley wore a
sign that read, "MTV won't let me perform". She then ripped off the
mask for an accompanying photo and picked up a sign that read: "So
I'm hosting this year's VMAs."
She later added the tweet, "F**k yeah VMAs!!!!! #VMAs on @MTV Aug
30 at 9pm."
