Miley Cyrus shows off ring as split rumours surface again

Miley Cyrus has attempted to silence the latest round of gossip about the state of her romance with Liam Hemsworth by showing off her engagement ring during a video shoot.

The former Hannah Montana star is due to wed The Hunger Games actor later this year (13) but in recent months there has been fevered speculation they have called off the nuptials.

Earlier this week (beg27May13) it was suggested the pair was sleeping in separate rooms at the Can't Be Tamed singer's California mansion as Hemsworth prepares to move out, but Cyrus has attempted to head off the gossip once more.

During a shoot in Los Angeles on Thursday (30May13) for her new single We Can't Stop, the star was seen repeatedly and pointedly displaying a huge ring on the third finger of her left hand.
