Miley Cyrus hospitalized, cancels concert due to severe allergic reaction
Ailing Miley Cyrus was forced to cancel her concert in Kansas City, Missouri on Tuesday night (15Apr14) after she was hospitalized for a severe allergic reaction to antibiotics.
The Wrecking Ball hitmaker was due to perform at the Sprint Center for the latest stop on her Bangerz tour, but her representative tells GossipCop.com that the abnormal reaction to her medication has prompted her doctors to place her on medical rest, thus prompting her to axe her show.
Cyrus took to Twitter.com to express her disappointment over her
latest medical scare, and wrote, "Kansas I promise I'm as
heartbroken as you are. I wanted so badly 2 b there 2night
(sic).
"Not being with yall (sic) makes me feel s**ttier than I already
do."
She also posted a photo of herself in a medical gown in a hospital
bed, holding up a toy shaped like an octopus, and added the
caption, "Mr. Octopussy & some amazing Drs (sic) are taking good
care of me."
The singer also responded to a fan's concerns about her health,
writing, "I hate this. & I hate hospitals. & I hate needles. & I
hate laying in a bed bored AF (as f**k). & I hate feeling like
crap."
Cyrus, who complained of a cough and sore throat on the
microblogging site on Monday (14Apr14), was also forced to cancel
her gig in Charlotte, North Carolina last week (07Apr14), after
coming down with influenza.
Her tour mate Sky Ferreira has also been sick. The singer axed a
show in Iowa City, Iowa on Sunday (13Apr14) due to a bout of
flu.
