Miley Cyrus fan ordered to stay away from singer for three years

An obsessed Miley Cyrus fan who told police he couldn't live without the pop star has been ordered to keep his distance from his idol for the next three years.

Devon Meek is currently in psychiatric care following his arrest near Cyrus' home on 16 May (14), when he told cops they might as well shoot him in the head if he couldn't meet the star.

In court on Monday (16Jun14), the Wrecking Ball singer's lawyers were granted a request for a permanent restraining order against Meek.

As a result, he must stay at least 100 yards away from Miley for three years - and he's banned from going anywhere near the venues she performs at.

According to police reports, Meek claims he hears Miley talking to him through the radio.
