Meghan Trainor reveals her dream future husband

Meghan Trainor has a huge crush on Leonardo DiCaprio.

The All About That Bass singer appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Wednesday (20Apr16) and took part in a game of Who'd You Rather? Meghan was shown images of two different celebrities and asked to choose one as Ellen attempted to find her a boyfriend. Drake was the initial favourite, before she was superseded by Creed actor Michael B. Jordan. However, when Leonardo DiCaprio's image flashed up on the screen, it was game over.

"Leo!" Meghan screamed as his picture was shown. "Leo's goals, every day. Leo!" From that point on, any celebrity that Ellen showed got the response "Leo" from the excitable singer.

Ellen also asked Meghan about her emotional speech at the Grammy Awards earlier this year (16). She picked up the Best New Artist gong at the ceremony, but struggled to finish her speech through an abundance of tears.

"I cried a lot that day," she admitted. "Good cries. That's life goals right there. I freaked out - I didn't plan any speech so I just cried."

When Ellen asked Meghan where she keeps her gong, the singer replied: "I haven't got it yet. They're building it from scratch I guess! It's coming this month though."

Ellen then stunned her guest by unveiling the award, which had been engraved with Meghan's name, causing the redhead to once again break down in tears.

"I didn't mean to do that!" Ellen laughed. "I think you're amazing and you deserve that and you're an incredible young woman."

Meghan was on the show to promote her new song No and upcoming second album Thank You, due for release next month (May16).

The record is highly anticipated, as it follows her debut record Title, which featured the hits All About That Bass, Lips Are Movin, Dear Future Husband and Like I'm Gonna Lose You. But Meghan insisted she didn't feel any pressure while making the new album.

"I was excited to do something new and fresh as a songwriter," she said. "It reaches levels I hadn't reached yet and I'm excited for everyone to hear that."
