Meghan Markle's half-brother urges Prince Harry to 'take care of her'

Meghan Markle’s older half-brother has given talk of a royal wedding his blessing.

Suits actress Meghan has seen her name splashed across tabloids since starting a romance with British royal Prince Harry. The couple went public at the beginning of November (16), after a report that they were seeing each other. Harry even issued a statement condemning the way his other half has been spoken about in the press, blasting certain stories and social media comments as sexist and racist.

Now Meghan’s half-brother Thomas has shared his views on the matter, admitting he is overjoyed that his little sister has found true love.

“I can absolutely picture a royal wedding,” he beamed to Britain’s Grazia magazine. “Meghan has worked so hard to get to where she is now, and to be able to meet someone who is compatible is every girl’s dream. Who wouldn’t want that?

“I have to be the older brother and say, ‘Take good care of her’. She needed someone who could keep up with her. I think Harry fits the bill. If he does want to marry her, he’d have to come over and hang with us for a little bit.”

Thomas also put Harry’s mind at ease following reports the prince’s past romances failed because his girlfriends struggled to live in the spotlight.

“If that’s one of his concerns about Meghan, it shouldn’t be. She’s been in front of the camera for 15 years,” he stated.

Not all the family is as happy with the news though. Meghan’s half-sister Samantha Grant recently lashed out at the 35-year-old, dubbing her a "narcissistic, social climber". Samantha also said 32-year-old Harry’s regal family “would be appalled”.

“You couldn’t ask for a more proper, well spoken person than Meg. She has everything a good woman should have. Samantha hasn’t seen her in 30 years. What she said wasn’t nice," Thomas fumed. "Why would anybody want to try and ruin something for someone who has achieved so much, and who is love?”
