Mcfly rockers Tom Fletcher and Dougie Poynter have won their first literary award for their children's book The Dinosaur That Pooped Christmas.
The British pop stars landed a publishing deal with Random House last year (12) and released the fiction in October (12).
Now the duo has received its first big accolade for its creative
writing efforts, winning the Best Ebook Children's category at the
2013 Publishing Innovation Awards, which were held during the
Digital Book World Conference in New York on Wednesday
(16Jan13).
Alerting Twitter.com fans to the news, Fletcher writes, "Awesome
news! Our book The Dinosaur That Pooped Christmas has won an award!
Well done".
