Mary J. Blige wants to collaborate with rock star Tom Cruise

Mary J. Blige would jump at the chance to hit the recording studio with Tom Cruise after witnessing the actor rock out in their upcoming movie musical Rock Of Ages.

The Mission: Impossible star portrays Stacee Jaxx in the big screen adaptation of the Broadway hit, and Blige admits she was left in awe of his stage presence onset.

She tells Eonline.com, "You guys are going to be blown away. He is insane... he became a rock star. He sang like one, he moved like one, he talked like one. He made us scream when he walked past us."

And Blige is eager to land the Hollywood icon as a duet partner: "If he asks (to collaborate), absolutely!"

Alec Baldwin, Russell Brand, Julianne Hough and Diego Boneta also star in the forthcoming film.
