Maroon 5 staging auction for sick toddler
Maroon 5 have offered up a string of prizes for a charity auction to raise money for a sick toddler.
The Moves Like Jagger hitmakers were moved by the plight of Zoe Feldman, who was recently diagnosed with sarcoma botryoides - malignant tumours of the muscles - and must undergo two forms of chemotherapy.
The band is now staging a sale on auction website CharityBuzz.com
to help pay Feldman's medical bills, with lots including the chance
to meet Maroon 5 at a concert next year (13) and a signed
guitar.
Hopefuls can also bid for the chance to come face-to-face with
frontman Adam Levine at a taping of reality TV show The Voice - and
the singer is urging the group's fans to dig deep for Feldman, who
turns three this month (Aug12).
In a post on his Twitter.com page, he writes, "Hey guys. Auctioning
some sweet M5 items @Charitybuzz to benefit our friend Zoe
Feldman... thank you!!!"
