Maroon 5 gatecrash wedding receptions in L.A.

Maroon 5 spent their weekend (06-07Dec14) gatecrashing several wedding receptions across Los Angeles to give newlyweds an unforgettable impromptu performance.

The Maps hitmakers surprised unexpecting couples on their big day by showing up to their party without notice to take to the stage, and the entire ambush was captured on camera as part of the band's upcoming music video.

Frontman Adam Levine tells Access Hollywood, "We crashed multiple weddings, actually. It was really surreal. It was so much more amazing than we originally thought it would be, because we literally showed up and played songs for these guys.

"They (newlyweds) were surprised. I'm just glad they're good memories."

Levine is a newlywed himself after tying the knot with supermodel Behati Prinsloo in July (14).
