Man stabbed at Jessie J show dies

A man who was stabbed in the neck at a Jessie J gig in London on Wednesday (04Apr12) has died.

Phillip Sherriff, 37, a father of two, had been hospitalized in a critical condition after he was attacked with a glass bottle in Pulse nightclub, where the Price Tag hitmaker had performed earlier in the evening.

Authorities are now treating the case as a murder investigation and suspect Ashley Charles appeared in court on Saturday (07Apr12) and was charged with attempted murder. The 25 year old was refused bail and will next appear at Inner London Crown Court on 20 April (12).

Amy Winehouse's singer goddaughter Dionne Bromfield, one of the guests at the event, has paid tribute to the victim on Twitter.com, writing, "So sadden for there lost, family and friends of Phillip Sheriff (sic) RIP."
