Malin Akerman and Carla Gugino lock lips for charity

Actresses Malin Akerman and Carla Gugino had a make-out session right before they were doused in water for the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.

The actresses have become the latest celebrities to take part in the viral video challenge to raise funds for the ALS Association, and Akerman and Gugino, who were nominated by their Watchmen director Zack Snyder, decided to put a twist on the task.

Gugino used the opportunity to upload her very first post on Twitter.com, sharing a video of herself and the blonde beauty sitting on the rooftop of a building and locking lips.

Their makeout session is interrupted when a bucket of ice cold water is poured over their heads, and they each hold up signs revealing their nominations to take the challenge next, with Gugino calling out her pal Danny DeVito and Akerman challenging her former Trophy Wife co-star Bradley Whitford, before both erupted in a fit of giggles.
