Macklemore unfazed by stage costume criticism

Rapper Macklemore has shrugged off allegations of anti-Semitism after he was accused of dressing like a Jewish stereotype during a concert.
The Thrift Shop hitmaker raised eyebrows during a performance at the EMP Museum in Seattle, Washington on Friday (16May14) by donning a large prosthetic nose, a beard and a black wig.
Once images of the gig spread on social media websites, critics
suggested he was dressed as a collection of offensive Jewish
stereotypes.
However, Macklemore insists the outfit had no racial or religious
context and was simply a wacky costume.
He tweeted on Monday (19May14), "A fake witches nose, wig, and
beard = random costume. Not my idea of a stereotype of
anybody."
