Lydia Hearst weds in Pasadena
Model and actress Lydia Hearst has wed comedian Chris Hardwick.
The couple tied the knot on Saturday (20Aug16) in Pasadena, California.
The bride, 31, wore a custom-designed Christian Siriano gown, which
she posted a shot of a week before her big day on Instagram, adding
the caption: "I am truly blessed to have you in my life @hardwick.
I love you, and I will never stop loving you.
"I cannot wait to marry you in one week."
The 44-year-old comic wore a dark blue custom Prada suit.
The setting doubled as a scene from TV series The Walking Dead -
the bride and groom's favorite TV show. Hardwick also hosts the
cult programme's companion chat show The Talking Dead.
On the eve of the wedding, Hearst took to Instagram to share a
zombie-themed photo of herself and the comedian, adding, "My love
for you will never die @hardwick."
Hearst has told People magazine the big day was "perfect", adding,
"But Chris is the most important person and vital component to
me... This is a celebration of our love and an incredible moment to
share with our family and friends.
"I cannot wait to share my life with Chris. He's my love, my
partner, my friend, everything!"
Almost 450 guests attended the wedding, according to People.
The couple became engaged almost a year ago (Sep15), when Hardwick
proposed to Hearst on the night of the Emmy Awards with a ring
passed down by her grandmother.
The bride's proud mom Patricia Hearst celebrated the nuptials early
by posting a shot of the happy couple sharing a kiss after their
rehearsal dinner on Friday night (19Aug16) on Instagram.
