Ludacris has been honoured in his native Georgia for his philanthropy efforts.
The Area Codes hitmaker founded the Ludacris Foundation in 2001 and he has been working closely with social and educational groups in a bid to inspire youths to achieve their life goals.
The hip-hop star was recognised for his work during a special
ceremony on Tuesday (20Dec11), but he turned the event into another
charity drive by donating winter essentials to needy children.
In a post on Twitter.com, he writes, "Just got honored by the city
of College Park for my charity work! Just gave toys, coats, hats,
gloves ect (etc) to 260 kids!"
