Louis Tomlinson's son has own domain name to stop copycats
Louis Tomlinson's newborn son has his own Internet domain name in an effort to stop One Direction fans from creating bogus websites, according to a report.
Baby Freddie Tomlinson caused a social media frenzy when Louis announced that his ex-girlfriend Briana Jungwirth had given birth to their son on 21 January (16) in Los Angeles,
"I'm pleased to say my baby son was born yesterday :) He is healthy
and pretty amazing :) I'm very happy!!" he wrote on Twitter.com on
23 January (16).
He later posted a touching snap of him cradling his son on the
social media site, and finally revealed his name to the world.
"Meet my little lad, Freddie," he captioned the image.
Within minutes, thousands of One Direction fans had created bogus
Twitter accounts inspired by Freddie's name, leading Briana's
family to step in to protect the baby's identity.
The domain FreddieTomlinson.com was registered on 27 January (16),
just minutes after Louis announced his son's name, editors at
TMZ.com report.
Meanwhile, in an effort to step up to his new role as a dad, Louis
has reportedly agreed to pay nearly $16,000 a month for the upkeep
of his son.
"Louis is doing everything he can to provide for mother and baby.
He's very wealthy but is still being hugely generous in the amount
he is giving... He's taking being a dad very seriously," a source
tells The Sun newspaper in the U.K.
Briana and Freddie are reportedly taking up residence in a
four-bedroom house in the luxury community of Calabasas in Los
Angeles, with Louis reportedly footing the bill for the private
property's $6,720 -a-month rent.
