Louis Tomlinson's grandfather dies
One Direction star Louis Tomlinson is mourning the loss of his grandfather.
The British pop star's sister, Phoebe, announced the sad news on her Instagram.com page on Sunday (28Feb16).
"RIP grandad Keith," she wrote. "You were so kind Grandad!!"
Louis has yet to comment on the news, but many fans have reached
out to him online share their condolences.
"Now he's in heaven taking care of us, let's live happy and his
soul will be happy too," writes one fan, while another one adds,
"This is so sad he was such a nice person but hes in a better place
now and always in our hearts."
The news comes two days after the 24-year-old reached a temporary
custody settlement with the mother of his newborn son.
The singer had been preparing to face off with Briana Jungwirth in
a California court on Friday (26Feb16), amid allegations suggesting
the Los Angeles-based stylist had been limiting his access to
one-month-old Freddie Reign because she wanted more financial
support.
However, the exes managed to strike a deal hours before the
hearing.
Under the terms of their makeshift agreement, Louis will be able to
see his son for several hours during the week, although he will not
be allowed overnight visits.
Lawyers for the two parties are reportedly working out a formal
settlement to cover both custody and child support, as Louis had
previously just been paying Briana's expenses, which varied on a
weekly basis.
Despite his current legal drama, Louis recently opened up about the
joys of fatherhood while attending the BRIT Awards in London last
week (24Feb16).
"(Fatherhood) is good," he told British TV station ITV2. "It's
intense. It's really exciting... This is my first time away from
Freddie so it's tough."
