Louis Tomlinson's girlfriend denies engagement rumours

One Direction star Louis Tomlinson's girlfriend has dismissed reports she's engaged to the singer after she was spotted with a ring on her wedding finger.

Eleanor Calder sparked speculation the British pop hunk had proposed after she was snapped sporting a flower ring at Nice airport in France.

A spokesperson for the band denied the engagement speculation on Wednesday (11Jul12), declaring on Twitter.com, "Louis and Eleanor are not engaged" - and now Calder has cleared up the gossip.

In a post on her own page on the site, she writes, "Haha noo It's just a flower ring that I bought from a market!"

The engagement gossip comes in the same week (begs09Jul12) a representative for the band denied rumours Liam Payne had proposed to dancer girlfriend Danielle Peazer.
