Louis Tomlinson finalizing girl band line-up - report
Louis Tomlinson has reportedly been in the studio with potential members of his new girl group to help him decide the line-up.
The One Direction star formed his own record label, an imprint of his mentor Simon Cowell's Syco firm, last year (15) and he revealed in October (15) that he would be working with the music mogul to create a new girl group during the boy band's hiatus.
Louis' project is finally coming together and the singer spent this
week (begs04Apr16) in the studio, working with American teens
Annika Rose, for vocals, bassist Charlotte Dean, drummer Marlhy
Murphy and guitarist Lexil Lynn Frazier in Los Angeles.
Louis reportedly set them up with One Direction songwriters and
producer Darkchild, but he has yet to finalize their place in the
band, which will play its own instruments.
"Now Louis is on a break from One Direction he is getting stuck in
to work on his record label," a source tells Britain's The Sun
newspaper. "With the help of his team he's found four of the most
talented young girls and set them up with the best songwriters in
the business.
"They are all proper musicians and play their own instruments so
it's not your average girl band... It's early days and the line-up
isn't finalized yet but they are gelling well."
According to the publication, Louis has chosen to work with the
girls instead of taking up a judging position on The X Factor
U.K.
The 24-year-old is currently based in Los Angeles to help raise his
son Freddie Reign with stylist Briana Jungwirth, who recently
denied fan conspiracy rumors suggesting their boy, who born in
January (16), was not real.
"Sorry but that is just cruel," she wrote on social media on Friday
(08Apr16). "How dare anyone call my child fake. That's sick and
morally wrong. Say all you'd like but I won't let anyone take away
the happiness I have for my baby son. I know Louis won't
either."
