Louis Tomlinson celebrates son's first birthday
Louis Tomlinson joined his ex Briana Jungwirth to celebrate the first birthday of their son Freddie on Saturday (21Jan17).
The former couple met up with members of her family in Los Angeles, and Briana shared a sweet video from the party on Instagram.
The 23-year-old, who had a brief fling with the One Direction
singer in May, 2015, posted the clip of her toddler looking at his
cake as his dad held onto him. Louis, 25, helped little Freddie
stay on his feet and grinned as he watched his son try to grab the
cake.
"Had a special day today with my birthday boy. Thanks for all the
lovely messages!" he later wrote on Twitter.
Freddie's party comes after a tough few weeks for Louis, who lost
his mother, and Freddie's grandmother, Johannah Deakin, to cancer
in December (16). She was diagnosed with an aggressive form of
leukemia, and passed away at the age of 43.
Then, earlier this month (Jan17), it was reported he had split from
his girlfriend, actress Danielle Campbell.
“Louis and Danielle have made the decision to split up but they are
still going to be mates," a source told Britain's The Sun
newspaper. "They’re still talking to each other and there is no bad
feeling whatsoever."
Shortly after Johannah died, Danielle was spotted leaving a London
hotel with Louis. The last mention of the singer on her Instagram
page came on Christmas Eve (25Dec16), the same day Louis turned 25,
when she posted a throwback picture of the pair together with the
caption: "Happy birthday, my love".
Louis is currently in the U.S. promoting his debut solo single,
Just Hold On, with collaborator Steve Aoki.
