Louis Tomlinson 'buzzing' over baby news

One Direction star Louis Tomlinson has finally spoken out about his impending fatherhood, admitting: "It's an exciting time."

The pop star hit headlines last month (Jul15) when it was revealed he is expecting a baby with stylist Briana Jungwirth following a brief fling with the 23 year old, but Tomlinson has kept silent on the subject, which was only confirmed by music mogul Simon Cowell and his bandmate Liam Payne.

TV host Michael Strahan congratulated Tomlinson on the pregnancy during a live broadcast of Good Morning America on Tuesday (04Aug15) and the singer appeared uncomfortable when the subject was brought up.

Strahan asked, "How are you feeling?" and Tomlinson replied, "Thank you... Obviously it's a very exciting time. I'm buzzing. So thank you."

One Direction then performed a free concert in New York's Central Park.
