Lorde set to make first Australian TV appearance at ARIA Awards

Lorde has been tapped to perform at Australia's ARIA Awards on Sunday (01Dec13), marking her first television appearance in the country.

The New Zealand native has become a worldwide superstar thanks to her hit song Royals, and now she's taking her talents to her native country's neighbouring Australia.

Lorde has been named as a last minute addition to the ARIA Awards, a ceremony celebrating the best artists in the Australian music industry.

The 17-year-old will be ending the week on a high note, as she scored a ninth week atop the Hot 100 countdown on the Billboard chart with her hit track.
