Lohan gushes over Keaton's kind compliment

Lindsay Lohan and Diane Keaton have swapped compliments on Twitter.com after spending New Year's Eve (31Dec11) at the same party.

The troubled actress got a boost when Hollywood icon Keaton tweeted her after meeting at the end-of-year bash, telling her she "looked beautiful" at the Los Angeles event.

The Mean Girls star was thrilled by the Annie Hall actress' kind words, and immediately revealed her admiration for the Oscar winner in a reply on Tuesday (03Jan12).

Lohan writes, "Your tweet was more than incredible and i cannot thank you nearly enough! Also, you were the most chic woman at the new years eve gathering, not to mention, THE most amazing!!!!! You inspire me."
