Lindsay Lohan wraps London play
Lindsay Lohan brought the curtain down on her West End run on Saturday night (29Nov14) and hinted she is already planning her next stage role.
The Mean Girls star received mixed reviews for her performance in a London production of David Mamet's Speed-the-Plow, which opened at the beginning of October (14).
Lohan gave her final performance at the Playhouse Theater on
Saturday night and she marked the occasion by thanking the cast and
crew, director Lindsay Posner and media mogul Oprah Winfrey for all
their support during her stint on stage.
In a series of posts on Instagram.com, she writes, "Thank you
#speedtheplow #ThePlayhouseTheater crew and staff thank you David
Mamet, Lindsay Posner... Thank you Oprah for being a part of this
process and happiness."
Lohan also hinted that she is plotting a role in another Mamet
production, Oleanna, which was last seen on Broadway in 2009.
She adds, "One Mamet down!!! Next stop. 1 year Oleanna..."
The actress later posted a picture of herself partying with pop
star Rita Ora to mark the end of her West End run.
