Lindsay Lohan 'upset' over prison talk in interview
Actress Lindsay Lohan begged Britain's leading chat show host to back off when he started quizzing her about her time behind bars.
The Mean Girls star agreed to an interview with Jonathan Ross for his weekly show but she turned prickly when he began probing for details about her prison term.
Lohan spend 14 days in a jail cell for drink driving in 2010, but
when asked how long it felt like, the actress tensed up and
replied, "I have no idea. I've blocked that part out. That's in the
past, okay? You are not putting this in the show."
Ross moved on but returned to the subject at the end of the
interview, telling Lohan, "Well, it's been lovely, occasionally
tense, having you here. But that's not necessarily a bad thing. I
was just going on about the same subject, which is why you,
understandably, got a little defensive."
Editors at Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper allege Lohan was upset
with the tone of the interview and her aides have held talks with
bosses at network ITV in a bid to edit out the prison
references.
The interview is due to air in the U.K. on Saturday (25Oct14).
