Lindsay Lohan's publicist has quit after less than two years as the actress' representative.
Steve Honig has been bombarded with press enquiries in recent weeks after the Mean Girls star's latest legal troubles, which included a September (12) arrest for a reported hit-and-run in New York, a dramatic hotel stay during which she accused a man of assaulting her, and a visit from police at her family home in Long Island after a headline-grabbing fight with her mother, Dina, turned nasty.
And it appears Honig has had enough.
A source tells Eonline.com, "He resigned as Lindsay's publicist (on) Wednesday night."
The spokesman appears to have confirmed the end of the business relationship, but tells the website, "I'm not discussing this out of respect for my client."
