Lil Wayne axes European tour

Lil Wayne has axed his upcoming European tour just days before his first show.

The Lollipop hitmaker was due to kick off the dates in Dublin, Ireland on Friday (08Mar13), but he has now scrapped the trek over scheduling difficulties.

However, Lil Wayne has promised fans the concerts will be rescheduled for the autumn (13).

He says in a statement, "I am rescheduling to (sic) my European tour in order to release my album, I Am Not A Human Being II, worldwide on March 26. I didn't want my tour or album to be rushed, so despite my best hopes, I have made the decision to push back the tour to October 2013. I cannot thank my European fans enough for their patience and look forward to performing in the fall... I never do anything halfway, and I promise to bring what will be an incredible live show experience."
