Lil Twist: 'I'm learning from my mistakes'

Justin Bieber's troubled friend Lil Twist has conceded he has made a number of big mistakes over the last few months, but he is determined to learn from them and move on.

The rapper was arrested in July (13) on suspicion of driving Bieber's Ferrari while under the influence, and he was also named in a battery report amid allegations he was involved in a spat during a party at the superstar's California home.

Lil Twist, real name Christopher Moore, has now spoken out about his troubles, insisting his problems are all part of growing up.

He tells MTV.com, "I've been into a few accidents, I ran into a few mistakes, but I'm young. You were young before - you have to learn... I can't let it crumble me, I'm just really focused right now and I'm really focused on (my music)."

Lil Twist also insists his friendship with Bieber is still strong, adding, "That's really my brother. I met Justin when he was 14. I was 15 and we became friends as soon as we linked."
