Lil Scrappy surrenders to police

Hip-hop star Lil Scrappy has been taken into custody after surrendering to police in Atlanta, Georgia.

A warrant for the rapper's arrest was issued after he allegedly refused to submit to a second urine test after the sample he provided last month (Mar13) was cold to the touch and prompted the suggestion it had been tampered with.

Lawmakers considered his behavior to be a violation of his probation relating to a 2008 marijuana possession charge.

On Tuesday (23Apr13) morning, the 29 year old, real name Darryl Kevin Richardson II, turned himself in to a local detention center, according to TMZ.com.

This isn't the first time the star has fallen foul with the law - he was jailed last year (12) for a previous probation problem.
