Liam Payne and Cheryl make red carpet debut in Paris

Liam Payne and Cheryl made their red carpet debut in Paris, France on Monday night (09May16).

The One Direction singer, 22, confirmed he was dating the 32-year-old former X Factor judge, formerly known by her married name Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, in February (16), after they reportedly became an item in December (15).

While the couple has been photographed together jetting in and out of Los Angeles in recent weeks, and sharing 'selfies' on social media, Monday was the first time the pair hit the red carpet together for the Global Gift Gala.

The event took place at Paris' Four Seasons Hotel and both Liam and Cheryl looked delighted to be there, smiling for the cameras as they stood arm in arm.

Cheryl looked stunning in a full length pastel pink dress with cut out detailing at the waist, while Liam looked smart in a black suit with a white collarless shirt.

When the couple weren't smiling at the cameras, the Steal My Girl singer could be seen staring adoringly at his girlfriend, who is 10 years his senior, and whispering in her ear, making her giggle.

Their relationship comes as the former Girls Aloud singer divorces her second husband, Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini, who she split from last summer (16).

The couple tied the knot in a secret ceremony on the Caribbean island of Mustique in July, 2014, after a whirlwind romance.

Meanwhile, Liam previously dated dancer Danielle Peazer on and off for three years until April, 2013, before embarking on a two-year relationship with former schoolmate Sophia Smith before they split in October (15), just weeks before the singer hooked up with Cheryl.
