Liam Payne '100 per cent certain' One Direction will reunite
Liam Payne reassured One Direction fans by confirming the band would reunite after their hiatus.
The hugely successful boyband have been on a self-imposed break since the end of last year (15), and Liam was inundated with questions about the hiatus while taking part in a Twitter Q&A on Saturday (17Dec16).
A fan asked the 23-year-old singer, "Will one direction ever get
back together again?” and Liam quickly replied, “I’m 100% certain
that we will."
The #AskLiam session on Saturday was also the first chance One
Direction fans got to question the singer directly about the rumors
he's expecting his first child with girlfriend his Cheryl.
The singer dodged the questions but hinted he was in a state of
bliss. "Are you happy honey?" one fan asked the star. "The happiest
I could be," Liam sweetly replied.
He and Cheryl, 33, first sparked pregnancy rumors last month when
the former X Factor judge stepped out with her boyfriend in a
figure hugging green ribbed dress that showed off a growing baby
bump.
Neither have confirmed the rumors, but Liam's bandmate Niall Horan
seemingly let the happy news slip when he was spotted leaving
upmarket baby boutique Petit Tresor in West Hollywood earlier this
month carrying a large hamper of pink gifts.
The basket, which appeared to contain a pink blanket, stuffed toy
and baby toiletries, was wrapped in cellophane, but its contents
could clearly be seen as Niall headed back to his car.
Liam and Cheryl first met in 2008 when the then 14-year-old singer
auditioned for the U.K. version of the X Factor, and Cheryl was
acting as a judge.
The couple began dating earlier this year after Cheryl split from
her second husband, Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini, and officially
confirmed they were together in March with a sweet snap on
Instagram.
