Liam Hemsworth has revealed the pitfalls of working with The Hunger Games co-star and close friend Jennifer Lawrence.
While on Britain's The Graham Norton Show on Friday (10Jun16), the 26-year-old Australian actor revealed some of the bizarre things that the Oscar-winning actress would say to him before they filmed a scene.
"She often, right before a take, would turn to me and ask me if I liked having sex with kangaroos - anything along those lines," Liam laughed. "You never really know what's going to come out of her mouth."
The actor was on the show alongside his Independence Day: Resurgence co-star Jeff Goldblum as well as Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, with Dwayne then asking him what his answer to Jennifer's question was.
"Absolutely!" Liam joked. "That's what Australians do!"
The Hunger Games star also confessed to being accidentally hurt while filming 2012's The Expendables 2, as he was kicked in the chest by veteran action hero Jean-Claude Van Damme.
"At one point in the scene, he has this moment where he kicks this knife into my chest. We did a bunch of takes, and in one particular take he gave me a full Van Damme kick to the chest. And I dropped to my knees, the director called cut... he proper kicked me in the chest, and I had my hands tied behind my back," he recalled.
"I'm not going to show any pain to Van Damme, and I stood up and he (Van Damme) takes his glasses off and says, 'It's okay, it was a controlled kick.' I'm like, 'There was nothing controlled about it, you kicked me in the chest!'" he joked.
"I honestly felt honored. If you're gonna get kicked by someone that's a pretty good person to get kicked by," Liam added.
