Liam Hemsworth injures ankle on Mockingjay set

Australian actor Liam Hemsworth is nursing an injured ankle following an accident on the set of the upcoming The Hunger Games film.

Hemsworth is currently in Berlin, Germany filming the fourth installment of the hit film franchise, Mockingjay Part 2, but on Friday (23May14), he was spotted limping and appeared to have hurt his right ankle.

Production is said to have been halted on Saturday (23May14) due to Hemsworth's injury, and filming resumed on Tuesday (27May14).

E! News reports Hemsworth hurt himself by kicking a Styrofoam dummy, but that has yet to be confirmed.

The actor, along with co-stars Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson, has been filming the two-part finale since September (13), with The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 due in cinemas this November (14), and Part 2 set for release in November, 2015.
