Leslie Odom, Jr. is a dad

Actor Leslie Odom, Jr. has become a father for the first time.

The Person of Interest star, who also featured in Broadway's Hamilton musical, welcomed baby girl Lucille Ruby with his wife Nicolette Robinson on Sunday (23Apr17).

Odom, Jr. introduced his newborn to fans on Instagram on Tuesday (25Apr17), when he shared two pictures of the tot all wrapped up in a blanket, wearing a pink hat.

In the accompanying caption, the actor shared his admiration for his wife after enduring a tough birth: "Lucille Ruby arrived in the wee hours on Sunday morning after a brief but harrowing labor on the part of her incredible mother, Nicolette Kloe Robinson, the dragonslayer."

"Deeper in love by the minute," added the new dad.

Leslie and his wife, who wed in 2012, announced their pregnancy in October (16).
