Leona Lewis to boost sanctuary donations with star-studded fundraiser
Leona Lewis is throwing a star-studded bash in Beverly Hills to raise funds for a U.K. animal sanctuary.
The Bleeding Love singer helped to raise $21,000 by completing a five-mile (eight-kilometre) sponsored walk in the U.K. last month (Oct11) in aid of the Hopefield Animal Sanctuary in Essex, England.
Now the London-born star is hoping to boost donations further by
hosting a fundraiser in Hollywood for the likes of Nicole
Scherzinger, Paula Abdul and Glee's Matthew Morrison on 19 November
(11).
An Evening with Leona Lewis and Friends will feature performances
by the star herself and fellow Brit Natasha Bedingfield.
Bosses at Hopefield Animal Sanctuary are aiming to raise $160,000
by the end of the year (11) to save the sanctuary from closure.
