LeAnn Rimes suffering from mystery illness

Singer Leann Rimes is recovering after falling ill with a mystery bug.

The Blue hitmaker reached out to fans on Twitter.com on Thursday night (27Feb14) and uploaded a picture of her arm hooked up to an intravenous drip.

She tweeted: "Food poisoning or a virus, not sure which, but wow do I feel so much better now."

Rimes went on to reveal her husband, actor Eddie Cibrian, was looking after her, adding, "My baby is taking care of me."

It is the latest bout of ill health to affect Rimes - she was hospitalized in Ireland last year (13) after she was struck down with a viral infection and also fractured her hand during a vigorous workout.
