LeAnn Rimes planning second honeymoon to celebrate anniversary

Leann Rimes is planning a second honeymoon with her husband Eddie Cibrian to celebrate their one-year anniversary.

The country star wed actor Cibrian at a private residence in Malibu, California on 22 April, 2011 and they chose to mark their first year of marriage by returning to the venue with the actor's young sons this weekend (21-22Apr12).

Rimes opened up about her "perfect" weekend in a series of Twitter.com posts on Monday (23Apr12), writing: "We have had the most wonderful first anniversary weekend in Malibu. We stayed at the house where we got hitched. We spent time w/ the boys, our friends and we saw our families....it was perfect and relaxing."

And the singer revealed the happy couple will be jetting off for a romantic weekend later this week (begs23Apr12).

She added, "Few more days til we go away for a lil bit, just the two of us. The first year deserves two weekends... we feel really blessed. Hope you all had a fabulous weekend yourselves."

The couple hit the headlines in 2009 when an onset romance during the filming of TV movie Northern Lights continued after the cameras stopped rolling. Rimes and Cibrian, who were both married to other people at the time, were caught on a security camera kissing over dinner at a restaurant and the affair ended both their marriages.
