LeAnn Rimes fractures hand

Leann Rimes has fractured her hand in an accident during a workout.

The Can't Fight The Moonlight hitmaker shared a picture of her bruised left hand on Twitter.com after she dropped a weight while exercising.

The star, who performed in London on Wednesday (18Sep13), took to the social networking site to explain the incident to her many fans.

She writes, "P-A-I-N omg OMG omg (oh my god)... Dropped a weight on my hand in the gym cause (sic) a ball slipped out from under me."

Rimes confirmed she has a broken bone after getting her hand examined, adding, "The verdict is in... it's fractured."

She later shared another photo with fans in which the two middle fingers of her injured hand are secured with tape.
